Superintendent’s Holiday Card Contest Winners 2024

Superintendent Larry Hollie (left) and Fine Arts Supervisor Eddie Joslin (right) announced the winners of the 2024 Superintendent’s Holiday Card Art Contest at a reception in December at the School Board Office. They include (from left) Nicholas Weber, EBHS, (fifth place), “The Grinch,” Lyric Tate, DHS, (sixth place), “Holiday in Lavender,” Samirah Etienne, SBHS, (first place), “Christmas Gift,” Zowie Davis, SHS (second place), “Families Come Together at Christmas,” Lester Spikes, MHS, (third place), “Bringing Joy,”, and not shown Adley Hardwick, SHS (fourth place), “A New Home for the Gingerbread Fam!” Students submitted original works of art based on the theme “Celebrate the Season with Hope, Joy, & Love.” Art teachers at these schools are Brooke Weeks, SHS and MHS, Michelle McAleer, DHS, Nedia Fontenot, South Beauregard High School, and Melissa Greenstreet, EBHS.
