Applicants for teaching positions with the Beauregard Parish School System must possess, or be eligible for, a Louisiana Teacher's Certificate.
FINGERPRINT BACKGROUND CHECK (CBC) FOR ALL EMPLOYMENT POSITIONS
- Driver's License or State ID Card
- Social Security Card
- Direct Deposit-Beauregard Parish School District requires all employees to use direct deposit for all compensations.
- Employees must provide a voided check, bank enrollment ACH Form, or ABBA routing and account numbers to be used.
- All prospective employees are required to obtain a criminal background check.

- Copy of Louisiana teaching certificate or a letter from university verifying admission to teacher education program (stating which alternative certification route being pursued) or passing scores in Reading and Writing part of Praxis scores.

- Three (3) Character references (Non Family Member) List references' name, address, and contact number (include on resume)

Any employee interested in an available position may apply for a transfer as per BPSB Policy GBM: Personnel Transfer.Please remember, the Director of Personnel and principals must be extremely aggressive when filling available positions and interviews are conducted continually in anticipation of future openings. Principals are fully aware of their school needs and maintain a list of these prospective applicants to consider for future positions. Keeping this in mind, individuals interested in transfers are encouraged to visit with principals prior to the availability of any position.

Must have three (3) years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience during the five (5) year period preceding appointment; such alternatives to the preceding qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.
